per person. Obviously with more people in your group the cost per person
becomes more economical. We do not add other people to you trek and
unfortunately it is not possible to join another private group.
Departures: To suit group requirements, as
this is a private service you can depart on any day that suits you best as
long as there are still trek permits available for the date you want.
March 2010
- January 2011
Inca Trail Departures Dates
2010:
Every Day.
Very Important Note: The number of remaining spaces does not
fall steadily, rather it falls exponentially. That it to say that the number of
spaces remains between 300 and 500 for quite along time but as it starts to fall
below 250 more companies decide to buy permits for their groups and the rate
that the spaces drop starts to increase. Often the last 100 spaces can sell out
in a day or so. For example just because there may be 160 spaces available on
the day that you want to start the trek, by the time you find a suitable
trekking company and send them your trek deposit, it doesn't mean that there
will still be 160 spaces left! So it is highly recommended to book your Inca
Trail as far in advance as possible.

The above costs are based on all information currently available. Although the
government has not confirmed the price of the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu
entrance fee (trek permit) in 2008.
An increase to any of the above third party costs are completely outside of the
control of Andean Life and will be passed directly on to our clients. As soon as
we are aware of any such increase we will immediately update our website and the
price of our trek increased accordingly. Clients be be asked to pay any
differences to the cost of the trek when paying the trek balance upon arrival in
Cusco. The actual cost of the trek permits / train tickets and bus tickets is
clearly marked on the respective tickets so it will be very clear to our clients
that an increase to any of the above costs has occurred. We appreciate you
understanding in this matter.
